Our CEO
Andrea Grant-Smith started her career in Cape Town, South Africa where she attained her undergraduate and Honours degrees in Clinical and Organisational Psychology and Human Resource Management.
She worked as an HR consultant, continually learning and developing and assisting organisations across South Africa with the HR management and legal compliance. She also started assisting companies based in Europe, UK, USA and Canada.
Throughout Andrea’s 20+ year career she has gained specialised skills and knowledge in people management, performance management and improvement, training and development, Coaching and mentoring, leadership development, change management, labour legislation and industrial relations, contracting, employee onboarding and other areas.
She also successfully grew an HR consultancy where she developed consultants and assisted hundreds of companies successfully navigate the unpredictable and sometimes volatile environment that is HR.
Andrea moved to BC Canada with her family and settled in Vernon. She completed a course in the Canadian Employment Laws, bridging the gap between the South African and Canadian Legal environments.
Andrea is committed to helping business succeed through improved human resources.
